None of my three cats went outside, so I am not in a position to complete this survey.

It is about cats versus cars.

What a waste of money. The answer is obvious, control/contain them at all times, like dogs.

Part of me agrees with you Canary.  In some countries it is normal to keep cats indoors.

But - if you hit a dog with your car you are supposed to report it. If you hit a cat there is no legal obligation to do so.

If the council picks up a dead can they are encouraged to scan its microchip so that its humans could be contacted.

Having a cat go missing is horrible, not knowing if it is sick, dead or has found someone who feeds them better food.
