Following on from the handsome man/beautiful woman thread, more light-hearted musings on famous people.

You're invited to dine with your idea of a perfect dinner partner.  Who is it?

David Niven for me.  I would love to have spent an evening dining with him.   Suave, well-mannered, educated, witty and good looking.  The epitome of the perfect English gentleman.  Just my type.  ;o)

Retro if you are Suave, well-mannered, educated, witty and good looking, I'll choose you.

Sod the crinkly hair and the tach.😁

Canary.  This is about celebrity dating.   But I do understand how you feel.  My father died at quite a young age and I would truly love to have a dinner with him again.  A lovely man very attractive too.

barmaid, your friend sounds perfect. Is he still living?

Barmaid  for some reason  I forgot about Daniel.   Gorgeous and also quiet.  I like quiet  mysterious men!!  But I still find Boris entertaining!!?

James and I have finished our meal and now smooching around on a small dance floor while the Spanish guitarist continues to play.  Then later tonight we will walk along an empty beach, and then..........

Night night everbody.  Enjoy your evening meals.  I'm off.......

Denzel Washington

Countrylover, my Dad is the biggest clebrity in my life.

He was absolutely wonderful, Barsel and I always felt like I was in some 1940s movie with him.  Sadly, he succumbed to Covid in 2019 in his late 90s.  He was not a famous person, so to speak, although he was well known in my particular area.

The other person if Daniel wasn't available is Antonio Banderas.  But only based on him singing "Phantom" with Sarah Brightman.  He just oozed masculinity and sex appeal.  I'm not sure I would eat much  though.

Barmaid, you were lucky to know him. You have lovely memories of the time spent with him. x

It would have to be Sam Heughan of Outlander fame and currently in The Couple Next Door ....  because he is Scottish and
we would understand each other in more ways than one.

Haz, Oh,  och eye do noon

Sir David Attenborough or maybe Iolo Wiliams,   but most of all I would like one more meal with Redman..... Just to let him know I was ok...and the canary arrived ....

Theresa Harris.

Don't ask!

Peter Ustinov.

That blonde bird from Countdown. Riley something.
