Bbc Quiz : Week 49
Good evening, all!
I hope that you’re all ready for Crimbo!
A poor start for me this week, with a score of just TWO out of seven in the main quiz:
https:/
Another score of TWO for me, but this time out of five, in the junior quiz too:

It certainly shouldn’t be be hard for you to beat me this week, I think!
Your turn, anyway!

Not quite dancing the cancan but I might manage an American smooth in a week or six (that would be a miracle as I couldn't do one before, tea daa). Hips doing well, getting rid of that awful grinding pain is wonderful. My surgeon peered round the recovery door at me and said "old hip completely knackered" which I took to be a technical term.
I'll have a go at some photos but tech isn't my thing, along with dancing. Daughter's cat has mastered the radiator bed after carefully peeling it off and lying on the bare radiator, the other two managed ok. There always has to be one.
1/7 - Q2 correct - but only because i misread the question as, 'which statement did he write' as opposd to 'did he not write'.
5/5 - redeemed myself somewhat even though one or two of the answers were quite obvious. And i recall the stickers as coming out just in time for the Mexico World Cup. A question which, given it was a kid's quiz, is a tad harsh.
Good, solid 'middling' scores, 10CS!
Better than me, anyway, JJ109!
. . . ditto, Campbellking!
(It was throwing it down here too when you posted but it doesn't seem too bad outside at the moment).
Joint top, Roo! Well done!
(I'm pleased that your recovery is going well and unsurprised that a cat has rearranged things to its personal liking; Moonbeam has just rearranged all of my Christmas cards to where he thinks that they look best).
You'e clearly much better at being a kid than an adult this week, Ken!
(I suspect that the kids' questions are based upon stories that were shown on Newsround, so the sticker question might not have been quite as hard as you perceived it to be).
