An Elderly Being Bullied To Give Money

Is there an organisation that I could report to regarding to an elderly person being bullied to hand over money on a regular basis.

I  did consider reporting to the police, but I don't think the police are interested as the victim is unlikely to cooperative with the police. This bought to my attention as the victims brother said his brother (victim) will be too scared to report to the police. His brother had witnessed on a few occasion that a stranger approaches his brother and seen his brother handed over the money. His brother thinks that the victim has been handing money to the bully over 40 years now. Suspect they work in the same company but the victim has retired now and he is 73 years old. The bully is likely to be in his late 50's. They usually meets up at our business premises and our staff had seen the bully a few times too.

I had encouraged his brother to report it to twh police too. But I said I wil put a post here and see what people suggest.

Are you sure about the time span. If the bully is in his late 50s and has been doing this for 40 years ,then the bully would only have been about 10 years old when it started. I might have got hold of the wrong end of this but  just want you to get it right if you are thinking of reporting it.

@anres,  the info was given by his older brother. His older also mentioned that he recalled that over years ago his brother was fainted at work whilst working at the foundry. He later found out that the reason is because he had no money to buy food to eat as mk ey was handed to the bully. I recon the victim is a bit down because his older brother also mentioned that when his younger brother was at school, the school had suggested that the younger brother so to special school. But the parent denied the suggestion by the school. I feel sorry for the victim so I am trying to help them out. But feel I can't do anything about it.

I do hope you can get something sorted out. This is a typical vulnerable person being bullied long term and should have been stopped years ago. I don't know about help but AgeUK do give lots of advice or maybe citizens advice bureau? I think the police have a welfare branch so maybe they can see him under that guise.

Absolutely the police in particular the community officer.

in my experience they are very helpful and active with elderly people being scammed

Have you got video evidence?  Security cameras, staff with phone cameras?
