Yesterday got a cleaner for my house who lives quite near me.  She done a fabulous job and was here for about nearly 3 hours.  Done the whole house but I have a lot of glass windows and I asked her to do them and they are sparkling.   YeeHaaa

Make sure you have her again jj. Nothing nicer than clean windows.

oh yes Anne - she will be back - I would just have her once a month - my house had got quite dusty and I needed my duvet cover changed which she did and she did it all with a willing heart.

Maybe she could show Abbey how it's done!

Abbey who?

Glass windows ? Now there's a surprise !

[Sorry jj. I couldn't resist the leg-pull]

Hurrah!

Question Author

ha ha ha Canary - it took me a minute to work that out LOL

You're meant to CLEAN windows???

Does not compute!

Chris, Only if you want to look out to see what the weather is doing.😀

^^^ I use the BBC Weather website for that, Barsel 😊

Question Author

don't know what you mean Chris - no I don't think you're "meant" to clean windows - she obliged me with the one-off.  hope that explains

Question Author

oh I get you now Chris - as in nobody cleans windows - I most certainly do as I have so many

Due to my spinal injury and now further developments(don't ask), I've been so so tempted to get a cleaner in once a week to do what really pains me to do, but I just can't do it. My brain tells me it says that I must be old/lazy cant be bothered, none of which are true. Just cannot re-set my brain!

Snow, my family are telling me all the time to get a cleaner in, but I keep putting it off.

You said //My brain tells me it says that I must be old/lazy cant be bothered, none of which are true//

Well, they are true in my case,😀 I just have this problem of not liking having a stranger in my house touching my stuff, and I more often than not, can't be bothered.

Perhaps I'll feel differently come Spring/Summer.

Smow, I felt just like you about getting a cleaner until I came to terms with the fact that I am now very disabled.  I didn't want to believe it.  My lovely cleaner comes every week and apart from being excellent we are now good friends.  She is self employed and also provides all the cleaning products and even brings her own hoover.  She chats to me as she cleans which is great and she's now provIding me with eggs from her rescued chickens.  I let her decide what needs doing and sit back and relax.  And the dog loves her too.  So get yourself a cleaner.  Avoid cleaners from agencies and cleaning Companies.

It's about time I went to bed!
