For The First Time In Ages

I sat and played my piano this afternoon.  My goodness, I am rusty, but I still enjoyed it.  I've just been too busy or tired to even spend 15 minutes on there.

Have you done anything recently that you have not done for ages?

I've just sliced my finger open on a carpet gripper.  Blood everywhere!!  Mr BM has told me to have a shower and sit down.

Do not have too hot a shower as that will encourage blood flow.

Something I haven't done in decades is I bought a vinyl record player and dragged out my sad redundant records and played them, and it brought so much joy and happiness to me. Records bring something to the listener that streaming doesn't, the artwork and connection between the actual music and physical lyric sheet, or artwork speaks volumes in my opinion.
