Blue sky and bright sun on Hayling Island, but wind building up alarmingly all morning.

50mph winds here. I've not been out at all since returning from London late Thursday.

I'd get knocked over in that wind.

Non stop rain and the wind!!!! Where's all these storms coming from??!!! 🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️

very noisy out there. I keep hoping my neighbours' tall trees will blow down but it never happens.

Stay safe, stay home.

50mph winds is nowt.  As I've said before it took one 100mph blast to take the roof off my cottage in the Yorkshire Dales.  Wimps down South;-))

that's true, 50mph is "severe gale" force but on land it's just "Slight structural damage occurs (chimney-pots and slates removed)"

It's still not weather I'd want to take a leisurely stroll in  😉😄

you'd be looking like Mary Poppins if you opened your brolly, pasta

Brolly??  What's that?? They don't last here...and I don't fancy flying out to sea 😉🤔

I remember the January gales which were the norm before everything needed a name.
