Being Protected From The Real World.
Until I was 24,when my Mother died, she "protected" me from the real World. Then I was in limbo till I was 27,when I met my recently(Nov 2023) deceased partner, who"protected" me for a further 49 years.
I now realise(at 76) that this is really the worst thing that they could have done?
This has not prepared me to face the "real" world.
I am getting used to situations, that I have never had to face before.
It is is not very easy, but I am working on it,with the help of(new) friends, and all the great guys here on The AnswerBank.
Thank You,I couldn't have done it without all of you.

Good on ya' fella life is a learning curve. As a kid and all five of us Brothers were taught all domestic stuff so seems bit obvious to me... to quote Mum "No poor future silly B***ch! is gonna have one of you lot turning out like my sackless brothers"
Mum being the only female of five. We were taught pretty well and fairly but now it's second nature and just get on with stuff.

Because it is a saucepan(and I was looking for a bowl)I didn't recognise it as a microwave item!
