Due to the cost of private surgery in the UK - there will be those that cannot afford it and will seek a cheaper alternative.

For example bariatric surgery 10-12 Grand in UK got to Turkey all inclusive hotels, flights surgery etc 3Grand

Barry it says it's more money but I don't think it's banned is it? No idea what a "bum lift" is anyway sounds like a bit of warehouse equipment to me.

There are a number of important areas where the phrase 'You get what you pay for ...' applies, and should be taken notice of.

Cosmetic surgery is absolutely one of those, as this poor lady has found out, to her tragic cost.

TTT - I'm not sure 'vanity' is the phrase I would use.

Some people really have deep seated body dismorpia issues, that lead them to extreme reactions and solutions, and that is clearly the case here. 

This poor lady has paid the ultimate price to address her feelings about herself and how she saw herself, and worried about how she was perceived.
