I didn't realise she appeared in Soaps, I loved seeing this girl in film and TV in my younger days.  I wish I'd known.

Another good one lost to us.  Very sad.

I remember her in Ken Russell films - I watched The Boy Friend again recently - but was trying to remember where I'd seen her live. Thanks to Wikipedia I now recall it was in the original stage version of Steaming. (I suppose she was naked but I can't actually recall that.) A great sparky comedian.

Classic actor though she may be, for me her finest role was that of Renee, a "part time model" in Episode 6, Series 2 of "Minder".

Arthur has a night on the town with an old army pal, "Yorkie" (played superbly by Brian Glover). Yorkie ends up in the company of Renee when Arthur discovers that Yorkie's wife, Dora, is  heading to London from Rotherham to join her husband. Matters are complicated because Yorkie has lost his keks (trousers) whilst in Renee's company (he threw them out of the window and they landed in a dust cart). As usual in Minder, things get overly complicated. A particularly good scene shows Yorkie waking up in the morning in Renee's bed, unable to remember how he got there or if he "did the business" with the "prozzy". "No you didn't", she tells him. "You weren't capable dear - and less of the prozzy if you don't mind. I am a part-time mod-el!".

I first saw Georgina in an episode of "Ladykillers" - a series about female murderers, where she played Ruth Ellis, the last woman to be hanged in Great Britain. She was mightily impressive in that, too. RIP.

Funny how memory plays tricks. I've always thought I'd seen Georgina in Tales of the Unexpected (TV Series) - the episode with the frozen leg of lamb.  Checking it just now, I discover it was Susan George.  Some resemblance ? - possibly.

I liked her.  I'm sure she was in Budgie with Adam Faith in the '70s. RIP
