As far as im concerned,Ruth Davidson jacked her job as Scottish Tory leader far to early, and then went to that useless institution(HOL).Bring her back, find her a safe seat, make her the leader and Premiership will be a foregone conclusion.

you must be joking - HoL expenses, no responsibility for anything, spend as much time with family as you like & no chance of getting booted out. Being MP & PM seems a very unattractive alternative. 😂

But the question is who WOULD you choose.

Nigel Farage, but I doubt he would want it.

Is Nigel Farage even a member of the Tory Party? How could he become the next leader of them?

we aren't talking about right NOW are we - who knows what the future holds!

you said //Bring her back, find her a safe seat, make her the leader and Premiership will be a foregone conclusion.//

Well substitute "bring her back" with "get Nigel into the party"

Aye,right.Im the biggest Remainer on AB,dave.Ruth was the biggest Remainer in the Tory Party. As far as im concerned NF is just a useless moaning faced numptie.

Farage could have the populist appeal of Boris but with added integrity.

It always amazes me that people think Nigel Farage would join the Conservative Party never mind lead it never mind be one PM: that is the one thing that probably WOULD split the Tories. He's the classic political maverick and as such would not go within a million miles of a major party

Jacob Rees-Mogg - the archetypal old school Tory.
