Eurostar takes about an hour and a half from Calais to Paris. OK, there's a very slight detour via Lille but It does travel at 300 km/h (=186 mph) for most of the journey. If Renoah thinks he/she can match that in a car, I definitely don't want to be on the same stretch of road as him/her.
ViaMichelin quotes the distance as 296km (184 miles), with nearly all of that distance (289km = 180 miles) being on motorways. The motorway tolls add up to 18.50 euros and the estimated journey time is quoted as 2 hours 56 minutes. In practice, I'd allow extra time for finding your final destination in Paris and estimate a total journey time approaching three and a half hours.

It took us around 4 hours to reach the suburbs of Paris. Basically, 6 hours should get you near the centre of Paris safely. To explain, the motorway between Calais and Paris are very busy, plus when you do get to the ring road around Paris the traffic was near to stand still (this was about 6pm, rush hour).
