I have radio disturbances when I pick my phone.Can anybody advise how to avoid it ?

It depends what type of phone you are talking about. I don't think you would get this problem on a mobile phone, so you are probably referring to a landline. If this happens on your landline phone this should be rectified if you change your phones for digital models, but I suggest you contact your service provider eg BT asking them if it is a problem with the line, before you start buying new machinery.
