Halogen Heater Recommendation

Hi, could anyone recommend a good halogen heater please? Thanks

I had one and gave it away.  At the time I had an unheated room and thought it would warm it up.  It didn't.  It only warmed what was directly in front of it.  I don't understand why they are popular.

An oil filled radiator did the trick

^yes, oil-filled radiator way better than halogen. Halogen were popular because they were cheap to buy...then people realised that they didn't cut the mustard.

B&Q no longer stock that model but it's available on Amazon (where, admittedly, the reviews are more mixed - but it might still be worth considering if you're on a tight budget):

Halogen heaters are very good for single folk who can then sit in front of them - but for heating a room convection heaters are better in my experience.

I should probably add that a halogen heater would suit my needs as it's just for directing at me in a small space, when the radiator isn't enough on very cold nights.
