NAC - clarinet has no O, so CLARET with IN (typo?) gives it. I think you are correct.

1 Clarionet almost works! There's claret, alcoholic drink and I, but there's On rather than An, in the clue...

I already have clarinet for - at home goes into an Irish county with a type of junction

1 Snare drum - snared (trapped) and rum (an alcoholic drink)
