Windows Updates
3 Answers
Whilst clearing off some unused programmes from a Windows 2000 Laptop, I found at the bbottom of the installed programs list a large number of Windows Updates files. As I installed them presumably thses are superfluous, but having been burnt before on other things, just checking - is it safe to remove them as in total they occupy a lot of space on a small hard drive?

If you are using XP select "Search", then "For Files or Folders".
Then select "All Files or Folders" then one of the options is "What size is it".
Put a large figure in there and search. Keep reducing the size until you find the large files on your disk.
ONLY DELETE THEM IF YOU KNOW WHAT HEY ARE.
