He likes to get everywhere incredibly early, it makes him anxious if he thinks we're tight for time. I get anxious if I think I'm going to have to hang around for half an hour or more! it spoils it especially at the cinema or meeting up with people.

which are you?

Today I've decided not to spoil it by moaning that we'll be there 35 minutes early and go with the flow!

I'm a too early person. I take my kindle everywhere so don't mind hanging around

I'd  rather be too early but not by too long.

I used to be very much a "last-minute" person but not so much now, especially when travelling.

I like to be early.

Like to early for airports but nowhere else.

I try to arrive at the correct time with a small margin of safety. 5 to 10 minutes maybe, certainly not 35 unless it was a very unusual situation. If something unexpected delays me I expect others not to have a fit about it but to be cool and adult about life's hiccups.

Well we went to a birthday party this afternoon and were asked to be there a little early to have a full room before the birthday  person arrived. That for me would have been 10 minutes ahead of the start time but naturally we had to get there half an hour early!

I did my best not to moan although inside I was feeling really awkward and irritable at having to make small talk with the caterers as we were the first there.

I agree that it's good to be early for a flight or an international ferry but at most other times it just makes me feel stressed.

I am an early person, married to a bang on time person, and mother to two feral always late children. No wonder I have an ulcer.

^^ LOL

I seem to function much more efficiently if I am short for time.

If I arrive at a railway station more than about two minutes before my train is due to leave, I'm absolutely furious with myself and I'll continue to feel really annoyed for the rest of the day. I hate having to hang around!

I'm a late but not very late person.  If its an important appointment , say a medical appointment, I'm an early but not a very early person.  When we used to entertain I would much prefer people to be late rather than early.

Arrive early, get an extra drink in.

I'm very punctual when needed. Heaven or hell can't stop me being there when needed

I can't remember the last time I was late for anything. I know all the side roads and country lane routes to avoid bad traffic and I'm always on time.  But I would rather sit in the car or a coffee shop rather than in a waiting room or at someone's house because I'm too early.
