You and Canary should be banned for overuse of emojis.

I'm sure Wimpys were around before 1981. Weren't they?

Quite funny to see everything so old-fashioned, but it was in my childhood. Which was quite recent.

Right Linda, that Craven geezer from the BBC is coming in, don't mess up his order and make sure you're quick.

Who'd have thought that progress would slow down fast food as the touch-screens back everything up and delivery orders take priority over queueing customers?

Yup!

(I think the point being made in the video was that, up until that time, they were almost the only burger bars around - and with no pretence to be following a US model).

I've just taken another look at the presenter appearing at the start of that clip.

I'm left wondering if he should actually be wearing that thing around his neck or, perhaps, he should have simply battered and fried it, to be served up with chips and peas?

Canary's gone inactive, wolf, it seems someone suspended him. A great shame.

But I digress. I never saw a Big Mac until I went to Japan and found them a useful alternative to eating things in a foreign language.

"Eating things in a foreign language."

Shouldn't speak with your mouth full, jnoπŸ˜‰

If that's a two-letter rude phrase, i hope one of the mods/Eds can read Japanese and gives you a tap on the wrist😊

Jno,

I don't usually agree with Canary's views but he is usually pleasant and doesn't fight back when he is bullied or mocked.

I hope he comes back.

I suffered from water on the brain once, till they gave me a  tap on the head

Canary had a disagreement with a mod the other day. Suspended for 24 hours...I guess he decided to make it permanent. A shame...I rather like him. I too hope he returns.

I used to love the wimpy mixed grill - no idea why πŸ˜™

I also like canary and hope he comes back soon. I am spending less and less time on this site which I find increasingly offensive and toxic. The editorial team should heed the comments that many members have made.

can you reactivate yourself, or does it have to be via the minister of social media?

Question Author

^^^ My understaning, Jno, is that reactivation of an account needs to be done via an email to the Ed.  To the best of my knowledge, there's no on-screen button for doing the job.

thanks, Buenchico.
