Gumtree Sellers

I've not used Gumtree much - are 99% of the sellers lacking any decent manners? That's been my experience in the last couple of weeks while looking for something specific.

Messaging about an item less than an hour after it was posted - no response at all 3 days later

messsaging another within an hour on Thursday, she did reply, I asked if we could look this Saturday and gave my mobile number for details and agreed she would ring me after 5 that ay. Never heard another word.

Thing is both these ads are still live today. It all seems very dodgy to me.

Some people are just hopeless at responding to messages, emails etc. Probably just thick rather than deliberately rude. I have a mate who I whatsapp sometimes and I'll get a reply months later and then I wonder what he's on about! I call him up and he'll say, oh I don't check my messages very often and he's turned of the alerts!
