Reasons To Be Cheerful

Thanks to the OT dept of Birmingham council a bath I could no longer use has been replaced with a lovely level access shower room

I have the new planters to 're do my balcony to create the meditation space I have been putting off for ages. And I found them 25% cheaper than everywhere else I looked

I have found travel insurance( hardly any would even quote) so I can book  a holiday or two

And the large box of broken biscuits hardly had any broken ones but included a generous number of my favourite foxes jam and creams

Fantastic rowanwitch.

Its been almost summer like here today. The bulbs are coming through and the birds are singing. I planted sone seeds into a warm cold frame this afternoon and did a bit of weeding. 
Family have just texted to say they have booked Sunday Lunch out this week. Today is a good day.

Can't wait to start planting,  keeping some of the existing plants like my big bamboo, and the climbers but want to add bulbs for spring colour ( as it's a small space I will buy them ready to go as it were, then some ferns, hostas, and white pelargoniums and petunias for later.  Then I will be hunting for a suitable water feature....and a nice table.

My voice is coming back after almost a week of sneezes, snot and coughing. Maybe OH feels differently though 😉

Im sipping my first G&T since Saturday, unheard of, but am really enjoying it 🍸

Weve just planned out the building of a pergola in our newly renovated garden, measured and priced it out, and OH will enjoy building it. It will also keep him busy for a few weeks 👍

Indeed Rowan. He's been looking at ready built black metal monstrosities online so we had to have a 'conversation' which ended with no way Hosea! 
And now he's really happy to plan and execute this wooden one..and so am I, it'll keep him out of my hair for a while 😉
