First Time In A Cinema In Many A Long Year.
I was surprised by the number of people buying giant buckets of popcorn and large soft drinks in the foyer.
All those empty calories can't be good for anyone watching their weight.

In my courting days it was the norm to give the lady a lovely box of chocolates to be enjoyed in the cinema. Proper, beautiful, fancy boxes, not sharing bags or those dull boxes of today.
Ice cream from the usherette during the intermission, bag of chips on the walk home.
I knew how to treat the ladies 😎
I gave up cinema years ago.
'The Day The Earth Stood Still' and two women chatting to each other for the whole film.
Then next time was for a Star Wars Film in 2016 and some idiot had a laser pointer and kept pointing it on the screen. The 12 year old staff didn't seem bothered.
So since then I simply buy and watch films via Blu-ray on home cinema system away from the idiot general public around me.
