Just For Fun! - Household Items/Furnishings You Can’t Stand!

This is just for fun, and not an insult on anyone's personal taste before someone says it! Just a bit of Sunday fun.

Name 3(or more) items that you refuse to have in your own home. If you're brave you can even say why lol. Mine are:

1.Net curtains - absolute dust magnets, plus my cats would climb up them every 5 seconds!

2. Bathroom toilet mats - the ones that go on the floor round the pedestal of the toilet. 

3.Flannels. I used to always have one nearly folded by the side of the sink - that was until I watched a late night programme where a guy admitted that when he couldn't be bothered to shower in the morning he would just wash his lower regions with a wet flannel &  then fold it up and put it back by the sink!!

Mr L would say cushions because he constantly complains about my love of cushions all over the sofas.  He throws them all up one end before he sists dow.

Leather sofas,Three piece suites,  bedroom suites, dining room suites,   wall hung televisions and fake fires.   I admit to no carpets and timber floors and rugs in lounge areas.  But to be truthful our home is over 200 years old and is quirky.  Nothing matches.  And nothing is modern.

A toilet brush is available but is bleached daily and  changed  regularly.  Nothing worse than visiting a home without a toilet brush and not being able to clean the loo if it becomes necessary!!

I hate plastic but confess to having a realistic looking fern in my bathroom.

Leather suites I hate. I hate seeing too many pot plants in a room.

Sharon...you'd better not come to mine. House plants in every room...but the bathroom(no windows). Plants are my hobby and saved my sanity during lockdown. It's my indoor garden

My daughter often buys flowers when she's not killing the plants I give her.

I prefer plants that flower...I have a few that do.

Oh dear. I have vertical blinds, toilet mat and brush, false flowers, though they look realistic. No bedroom TV for me as I cannot endure such an infringement upon my peaceful place.
