I don't have an Alexa.     If is listening in all the time it's switched on but only records when it hears the command word when  does it stop recording ?

A thought popped into my head. I wondered if Putin had children but didn't say anything out loud. I decided to Google and typed in the word "Does" and the first thing that came up was "Does Putin have children". Based on recent searches and activity I'm unable to explain how this happened or whether its purely coincidence.
