ok might not be spelt right. My mate uses the phrase for when something really gets on his nerves. what are the origins of this straaaaange saying?

Never heard 'winnet' used in that context. I always thought that winnets were tagnuts.

i do believe a winnet is something nasty that hangs from your bottom that you havent wiped properly!!!!!!!!! so grate my winnet may mean something like a pain in the arse????
