Watched the first episode of seven of this ITV drama based on the hunt for the Yorkshire Ripper.  Very good.  Wish it was being screened nightly instead of weekly.  Did anyone else watch?

Like Barry - I record these weekly dramas and watch when they've finished.  Also has the benefit of ff the ads.

Put it in the category of a drama about Sowham or Moors murderers - awful cack up as drama. werent the last two or three deaths avoidable ? Oh look and the police are resisting being called to account on another matter as we speak today

Tissy, I find the dialogue in a lot of programmes a bit iffy, although I can't say I noticed it with this one.  Sub-titles often help.

Most TVs have different sound settings (theatre, music, speech etc etc) which can make the dialogue better. 
I was a young teenager living in West Yorkshire when TYR was around. Many of us made sure our girlfriends were seen onto the bus home and that somone was there to meet them at the other end. It was quite disturbing.

We have finally got round to watching it and thought it excellent.  No gory, sensational dramatisation of the murders and assaults, more focus on the victims' families and the police.
