If you buy a saucepan set that has a lifetime guarantee, does the guarantee run out whatever age you die?

I bought a pressure cooker made by Prestige with a lifetime guarantee.  When the gasket needed replacing they were no longer available, pressure cooker turned in to a lidless stockpot and Prestige said the pressure cooker had come to the end of its life

As TTT asked on Monday that's what's wrong with the saucepans these days.
