A quiz question asked which part of a chicken will indicate the colour of its eggs?

The options were, beak, tail feathers, feet, and earlobes.

I've not seen many chooks, but while I'm sure they have ears I wouldn't have thought they'd have earlobes.

yes they do have earlobes but not with the external part that we have. The colour is supposed to tell you whether they will lay white eggs or  brown eggs.Usually they are covered with  feathers in order to keep dust and dirt out.

^Thank you sandy.  I used to live on a farm when I was young and we had lots of chickens.
