Smelly Carpet

I had a fairly big water spillage on my living room carpet near the front door.  I'm slowly drying it out with the help of my dehumidifier, but there is a horrible musty/mouldy smell in the room now.

Is there something like Shake 'n Vac that I could sprinkle on it to get rid of the smell?

You need to lift the carpet (if possible) so that the floor dries out also, especially if the floor is wood or chipboard.

Advice from my wife: lift the carpet (as advised by Blubster), then spray Vanish Carpet Care on the carpet and the floor, scrub carpet and floor with a dry scrubbing brush. Leave carpet lifted until floor and carpet are thoroughly dry.
