The 2 men concerned didn't behave in this way because they are Scots, they did it because they are disgraceful louts. Do not confuse the actions of a person with their race, nationality, gender, sexual preference etc.

I think what they did was awful, whether they are scottish is irrelevant, they're a disgrace. And for the father to say "in hindsight it was funny" is appalling, what sort of exmple is that? Those boys broke into her room which is bad enough - what else could they have done? And a woman's hair is very important, i would be hugely upset - yeah it grows back but what a spiteful thing to do. I betthey wouldn't be laughing if someone had done that to their mum/sister. And the kraut is right - they are loads of ar$seholes on holiday - and they come from all over the world.

The reaction of one perpetrator's father - seeing it as 'funny', and that his son was unfairly treated is symptomatic of the malaise of society - everyone knows their rights, no-one wants the responsibilities that go with them. It's nt a prank, it's a nasty spiteful criminal assault, and no matter if the lady (she is an adult) was unconcious with alcohol, she is entitled to the safety and privacy of her own room, and not to be invaded and assaulted by two brainless louts who can't control their own alcohol intake. Their racial origin is, as has been stated, of no importance, a yob is a yob, what ever country is unfortunate enough for them to call their home.

It is kind of NOT funny. This is what was done in the war to women seen as collaborators. It was done then because it was seen as something that was unpleasant and humiliating. Well as a Tunbridge Wells dweller, I think it's probably safe to say they were chavs - unfortunately we have loads of the s**m bags in TW who are inevitably the "victims", and the world owes them a living etc etc ad infinitum balh blah blah, my same old hobby horse. I just detest chavs.

The poor girl was on GMTV yesterday, she's been given hair extensions and is recovering. Still can't understand how they two little sh!ts got away with it. Haven't they got to go back for an appeal at some stage? Let's hope something more unpleasant is done to them. Flogging? the stocks? some sort of public humiliation is appropriate shurely?

Its all over the newspapers up here, and the jornalists (Scottish) are calling them names just as much as you english. Dont think all us Scots are like that! I think you will find us Scots try really hard not to think of one English hooligan to be like the rest of you's down there!
