Hello again!
Firstly, many thanks to all of the lovely people here who posted to welcome Tablo home. (All 57 of you!). I’m please to say that she’s been recovering well from her ordeal and is now back to bossing me about again 😺
I managed a reasonably decent score on the grown-ups’ quiz this week, with FIVE out of seven:

It was a good week for me in the kids’ quiz too, with FOUR out of five:

Why is it called News quiz : more like showbiz quiz.
I'll move on and stop moaning
A friend I was due to visit this week this week for her Welsh lesson, phoned me half an hour before I was due and advised me to wear wellies because her garden was 3 inches under water , what a let down after those few sunny days last week ☹
Shadi survived his worming, hope Tablo is still enjoying Extra
Home Comforts and you are tickety-boo. Happy Holiday :-))
Decent enough scores anyway, I feel, Haras2.
We've also had quite a bit of rain over on this side of the country. Today's been lovely though and the forecast for tomorrow looks reasonably good, with just a few light showers. However, with it being a Bank Holday Monday in a couple of days time, the forecast (unsurprisingly!) is for continuous rain up until teatime.
I've found a really good way to worm my cats. I simply grind up some pumpkin seeds with a pestle and mortar and sprinkle them over their food. It definitely works, as my skinny little Moonbeam (whom I thought might well have worms) put on loads of weight after I'd dosed him that way.
Tablo is definitely enjoying home comforts. Apart from essential toilet trips, she's not venturing outside at all!
All the best to you and Shady for the rest of the Easter holiday period - and for the coming week too.
