Silly Supermarket Substitutions

I've had a couple.  I thought thyme instead of tarragon was pretty awful, WKD Blue instead of Spiced Rum was a bit naff but today takes the biscuit.  Ordered my normal hair dye which is an auburn/red colour.  They have substituted it with blonde.  Perhaps they think I need more fun.

What are your crazy supermarket subs?

My sister ordered semi skimmed milk, and received SMA Little Steps baby milk.

Some of the options make me think it's the software which chooses - based on the fact that some of the results on a search of the store can be a bit bizarre. But mushrooms and tampons defies logic - except they both get stuffed perhaps !  !  !  !  !  !  !

I know that those machines you play on never seem to pay out. I bought 3 trays of cherries the other day hoping to hit the jackpot, again nothing🤣🤣

When substituting grain free dog food with normal dog food asked them several times not too but I can't work out if they think they are being helpful

I heard of someone who ordered some sort of fish and got octopus!  I'll have to be forced to do online shopping..... it may happen.  :(

It was worse than I thought.  I had ordered 2 packs.  One was blonde and one was light brown.  I said to the delivery chap that it was a bit of silly sub and he agreed.  But we did have a giggle.

This is why we had to give up on online shopping. 

Bought online tins of Heinz spaghetti for our daughter as that's the only brand she will eat, but they delivered the smart range. 

Not something she will eat, and definitely not the brand we would pick if we were in store.
