BBC4 is rerunning No Place Like Home on Tuesday, I'm looking forward to that but maybe I'll be disappointed.  Going back is not always a good idea

Is that the woman with the weird lop sided mouth? I looked her up once to see if she had a disability, I only knew the name Mandy and another word I forget linked to the programme I was watching with her in and  it took me to an Australian porn site. Strewth!

She's Diane Morgan, she also does the brilliant Philomena Cunk series.

She puts up a good show on panel and game shows, too

Himself really enjoys Mandy and her other incarnations but it's not my thing, I actually struggle to crack a smile at it.

I tried watching it when it was first broadcast (am a fan of Diane) but didn't like it.

Then a friend got us tickets to a live Q&A with Diane Morgan at the BFI, where they showed three episodes from the new series.

Hooked.

I now kick myself in the shins for not seeing Mandy as pure comedy gold.

The episode with the demon baby is one of the funniest things I've seen this year.

I binge watched a few days ago and found some earlier episodes very funny. The 110 year old "nan" & the devil baby was just too ludicrous though. 

Echoes of a female Frank Spencer maybe?
