I have two older sisters who are close to each other, and estranged from me.

I don't miss them in the slightest, I'm sure the feeling is mutual.

My wife's family, our children,grandchildren  and great-grandchild, and all partners,with the exception of one partner, all amazing,we are very blessed.

Someone once described family to me as friends that you're forced to have whether you want them or not.

I think it's a fair description. The family I grew up in was a bunch of different personalities living in the same house. Some of us got on better than others.
