i  need  to  scan  a  code  for  a  website   with  the  camera  how  do  i do that  please

Tap on the camera to open it, hold the phone over the code so that it shows it clearly on the screen.  If it doesn't scan it automatically tap the banner that pops up on the screen. The website will open

^^^ Barry's answer assumes that your phone already has a QR Scanner app on it (and also that it automatically runs).  I suspect though that you might need to install such an app on your phone first though.  (I did on my Samsung Galaxy phone). If so . . . 

Tap the 'Play Store' icon on your phone's home screen.

Search for 'trend micro qr scanner'.

Look through the results for 'QR Scanner-Safe QR Code Reader', with a red and white shield icon next to it.

Tap on that to select it and then on 'Install'.

Once you've done that (which you'll only ever need to do just the once), you'll have a new app available on your phone's home screen, labelled 'QR Scanner', displaying that red and white shield I mentioned.

Then, whenever you're invited to scan a QR code, you simply need to tap on the icon for that app.  It will open your camera, so that you can hold your phone over the QR code.  The app will then check that the relevant website is safe before taking you to it.
