London Marathon
I suppose most people on here watched some, or all of it. I took my BIL to run in it in 1988. Dropped him off at Charing Cross, then found a parking spot near Westminster tube, walked to Tower Bridge from there (a fair walk, I might add!) and waited on Tower Bridge for him to come jogging through. It was an amazing thing because as all the runners were crossing the bridge, it was bouncing up and down - literally! I couldn't see him, but he found me! Crazy! Made my way back to the finish where he jogged accross the line and wasn't at all out of breath. I couldn't believe how fresh he looked. You wouldn't have known he'd just run the London Marathon in 3hrs 20mins. A great experience. If you're goint to go and watch it, get on Tower Bridge and bounce along!
