Just had renewal in.

£540 last year

£1083 this year 😱

They're taking the absolute pee.

Anyone else finding this level of increase?

You seem to be paying a lot more than the average premium:

My buildings and contents cover is due for renewal fairly soon but at the moment I'm paying just £105 p.a. with RIAS.

They don't want your business that's how they tell you. Hit the comparison sites.

you shouldn't have had that Banksy mural put on your living room wall 🖌️

No, nothing like that level of premium or increase

Good grief.  Mine is well under £200.  You must be either living in a Mayfair penthouse with a gallery of fine masters or teetering on the edge of a cliff.

I wished, Barry.

I still can't believe they sent that quote.  I'll have to do some very boring 'Compare the Market' stuff over the weekend.

The car insurance is due in August. Lord knows what that will come in at.

My car insurance was £40 less than last year's, I've just paid it.  Different insurer, always 'compare the market' not necessarily with meerkats.
