Should Labour Abolish Those Pointless Metro Mayors If They Win The General Election ?

They were the brainchild of David Cameron and have always been utterly pointless. They were always a miscalculation for the Tories. Scrapping them should be a priority. Then get rid of those Police and Crime Commissioners while they are at it.

I didn't get any vote on whether any UK cities should go around electing political mayors, and certainly didn't hear of giving them permission to interfere in areas outside their patch.

I have 2 residential places and both are affected. And I had no say in either.
