a HMRC call this morning, claiming that I hadn't replied to a letter they had sent me - nothing received for a few months...and the voice sounded dodgy. Phone put down, called back and 'not a known number'

Reported it to HMRC....phone number was 02077036506, so in the London area.

The genuine owner of that phone number is Donald Shannon Estate agents, in London, so it seems a scammer has spoofed it and pretended to be HMRC
