Thunderstorm And Rain?

Have you had a storm. We had a beauty up here in N. Wales. Bright sunshine one minute, leaden slate grey sky the next with multiple flashes and a 10 minute torrential downpour. Sunny and warm again now but I think it is all going to go again later.

Actually, it's just started thundering here in the last couple of minutes. North Manchester. No rain yet though.

The electric storm looks like it is moving up throught Lancs. and Yorks. If it still has the energy that it had here this afternoon it will be impressive. No wind as such but a deluge anywhere for 20 mins is possible. If you are anywhere near Todmorden or Hebdon Bridge then yo know what I am on about. ⚡🌩⚡

A lovely warm evening here in London with the sun setting on the horizon. No dark clouds or any signs of imminent rain.

It has been lovely Rowan. Despite all the "risk to life and limb" warnings that the insidious web has generated for days it was obvious that people, the youngsters in particular, were actually enjoying the warm Spring rain. We have been busy in the garden since Friday and this weekend was Colwyn Bay prom shindig so we stayed home until late this afternoon. It has been packed down there and it hissed down for 30mins or so around 4.00pm. We did not see a sad or annoyed face as we made our way home, although lots were soaked to the skin. BTW the rain tastes like lemonade at this time of the year up here.

I'm seeing this a day late. Yesterday...Sunday...was sunny, warm and spring like.

Today, the temperature has dropped 5 or 6 degrees, there is no sun...and it's raining.  All day.
