Age for sex education to be 9! You mean up to now they've been sexualising younger children? It's right that they should not tell kids they can change sex, ever because they can't but 9 for general sex education? Far to low. What is it about these trobiscites that they can't wait to sexualise our children? Gawd we had 2 one hour sessions in biology when we were 13/14!

More innocent (?) times of course but I think we would have been better served to have sex & relationship education from (say) the first year at "big" school - age 11. They could have used the time wasted on religious education (bible classes!).

We were never taught anything about the human body. We never had biology lessons at any time during my school years. There was nothing. I mean nothing at all about sex, boys, girls, puberty etc. You only went to school for readin', writin' and riffmetic. How did we ever manage? 😊

Generally most schools will be fine and not affected from this.  The idea here is to stop the lunatics and those with an agenda.  Nothing wrong with that.

I can actually remember clearly the only advice we were ever given at grammar school on this subject. The gym teacher Jock Bentley said (his exact words) "Keep youself clean down there."!

Very true, TTT. Very true. I remember one lesson in RI, when one of the girls asked the male teacher how it was possible for a girl to have a virgin birth. Only God has the answer, came the reply! Meanwhile behind the bike sheds, Veronica Collins was being very educational! 😉😘
