I appreciate the immense  technical ability required in photo realism... But is it art?  I feel art has something extra, and in truth it's often indefinable, sometimes brutal, honest, and in its way saying more about the sitter.

The portrait is described as satirical...I'd say it certainly is. I'd like to see the artist's take on some other leaders and politicians.
