barry; I ask because I have been away for several days in Switzerland,  and on return found a reply message to one of my occasional, 'Night Poems from Khandro' threads which I had put up nearly a month ago. 

(I started doing this btw in the days when we had, 'Night Songs from Mamya',   ahh! )

It was the only reply/comment and it must have broken Site Rules and was kindly deleted by a mod. Perhaps something derogatory about the poem or me.

'Me', I don't mind, but it's a terrific poem entitled 'Snow', by August Kleinzahler of whom The Guardian wrote;

"Kleinzahler's work, dreamlike yet savvy, is among the most delightful flowerings of American poetry of our times."

 

I'm simply curious to know what happened while I was away.  🙂

That name rings a bell. I don't recall anything derogatory about you or your poem, khandro, so he was likely a spammer who I banned.

I've noticed that more often lately.  A new ABer posts a few 'proper' posts then starts with the spam.
