R.I.P. Joe Geeling

What a shame about young Joe Geeling from Bury. From his photograph, he looked like a lovely boy didn't he?
As someone who lost three school friends before I was 12, I know how his schoolmates are feeling. His family must be devastated.

When that 14 year old was arrested I thought maybe it was a silly accident and he worried and hid the body, but when I just heard this morning that Joe died of stab wounds I was sickened by the news. May little Joe rest in peace and the 14yr old never forget and live with this for the rest of his life. My thoughts are with his family now. x
After listening to Joe's father speaking about his son,I though what a wonderful tribute he payed to his son by saying ,amongst other things that Joe was his great mate.I think he must have been a very special little boy who certainly didn't deserve to have his short life ended in such a way bless him.Like you 4getmenot I was sickened by the way he met his death,it beggars belief that there are such evil children around. It's frightening.
i am of the same age as the boy who was arrested and i go to a school only a minutes walk up the road from st gabriels and what the boy did was utterly appalling and i cannot imagine any of my peers acting in such a way that boy deserves so much but as in the james bulger story he is bound to blame it on parents and background and get away without getting what he needs but someone will find him. although i never met joe i bet he was like any other young boy and i just wish i could have met him. god will punish his killer R.I.P joe
well i am from the grammar school not one minute up the road from joe's school and i am of the same age as the arrested boy, i cannot imagine any of my peers doing anything like that the boy will get what he deserves, even if he gets out of his sentence like the james bulger killers the boy will be found out and will live a horrible life he will have to remember what he did all his life, he deserves every thing that comes to him! i did not have the privelage to meet joe but i wish that i could have as he seems like an ordinary boy of his age and would come across well on most people. R.I.P Joe wait for us all, we will meet you one day
I live in Bury and it has been such a shock to the community. The young killer must never be allowed to see green grass again. I know people and have friends that go to the school of St Gabriel's and they are all well and truely heart broken from the news of young Joes death. Forever live on in our hearts Joe.
