Who cares about Taylor Swift?  I was looking at the news today and the banner was about her tour starting in Edinburgh. So what?

237SJ, I share your thoughts. But I reflected upon the '60's when news of The Beatles was covered by all media and wondered what is the difference?

I am as guilty as most for dismissing that which I do not enjoy nor have any interest in and TS is included. She has done me no harm and I merely stop reading about her or turn over to another channel. However, I will say that her choice of clothing when performing does make me wonder how there will be many of her young, ardent fans who will wish to follow her lead and who knows what that may lead to. I just hope they remain safe.

She's ok take her or leave her IMO, I personally don't get the hoo-ha about her (taking aside she is attractive)... give me an Artist such as P!nk any day.

She is the biggest pop star in the world, and she is playing in the UK. Even if you do not know her or like her, you must realuse why that is a news event.

She sold out 2 concerts in Madrid,that's about 160,000 fans, it's believed she couldve sold out that place 10 times over!
