Sorry I can't do links but on the bbc news app there is a report that the TV doctor has gone missing.

He is with his wife on the Greek  Island of Symi and left her on the beach to go for a walk Wednesday lunchtime.  And not been seen since.

Apparently his phone is at their accommodation .  Various rescue services have been deployed. 

I hope he has not had an accident in a remote part of the island.

DTC - it meant eating 'normally' for 5 days then restricting your calorie intake for 2 days.  I saw a map of where they think Dr Mosley had walked and it looked a bit too high and near the sea for my liking.  I can see why the coastguard is involved.  I feel sorry for his wife - she must be frantic.

all I can say is that I hope that they have plenty of formal search teams out and about and if Greece has the equivalent of what we had in the States, an informal organisation like Equus that can be brought in with their extensive numbers and resources like drone coverage to act as additional search back-up.

when I looked at Wiki a while back it said there had been "allegations", I don't know what. Now it doesn't; there have been 14 edits already today, Friday.

jno - you prying  minx! I look at the edit history on wiki but I close thedoors and windows and draw the curtains before I do ( I have a nerdy enough reputation)

If you do it alot then it can get quite interesting.

( I had a ref to B virus and  Kings Alexander of Greece's death from a monkey bite 1920, altered(*) - by a pastry cook in Croatia. The dog died as well by the way)

Latest is street video in Pedi ( so he  made it to the village). The disused donkey/ goats path shown by drone, is wide enough for me to wobble along -  ( one eyed and wobbly)
