...And Peter Pedant's suggestion to take Lansoprazole is pointless, it's only available via prescription. Other similar meds are available over the counter, but imo none of them should be taken before a GP consultation.
Meds containing codeine make me terribly constipated - doc says "Oh - take these high fibre drinks powders" but I'll be damned if I'm gonna take one thing to counteract another!
Agree with Barsel - Ibuprofen should not be taken by people who have stomach problems, heart failure, on Warfarin, etc. etc. It is best to consult your GP.
Peter Pedant - please stop posting spurious medical advice. Your last post, that I have removed, suggested using a drug that has been banned worldwide for several years.
