Myself and wife signed up to a online prescriptions service with SuperDrug about 4 years ago. Every 4 weeks our repeat prescriptions arrived via the post and it saves hassle of going to pharmacy. I did resist doing this because I wanted to support our local shops, but our local pharmacy was so bad they made the decision for me (prescriptions getting lost, waiting 60 minutes for something to be made up for a prescription given in a week prior and being given some else's drugs on occasion - it was liquid morphine and had a red warning label on bag).

Anyway, just got an email from Superdrug saying are going to start charging from end of July for postage at £45 a year.
Obvious option is to go elsewhere .....

but will the others also start to charge?

Has anyone else who are with other companies got notices for intention to charge for postage?

I used Pharmacy2u up until very recently for the very same reasons. All delivered to my door free of charge.

I suppose £45 per year is reasonable although less so when you've enjoyed a no-cost service. Would that be one fee for you both or each?

sorry not answered your question as we have an efficient dispensary at the surgery.
