Instant viewer scorer put Starmer with positive votes nearly double Sunak's. I would have put it even higher. The studio audience reaction was overwhelming in its preference for Starmer.

If Sunak were "crushed" it certainly wasn't by Starmer, and there was no "debate" here- just questions and answers.

There was a post from me @ 12:36 on 5th June:

"My thoughts are that such events are an import from the USA and are a total waste of time."

And I still mintain that belief, whoever gets "crushed" by whom. Anybody more interested in a gladiatorial contest between two incredibly mediocre politicians and who base their vote on the outcome should have their vote wihdrawn. They can then spend 4th July watching re-runs of Strictly Come Dancing or whatever else takes their fancy.
