There has been concern about the wereabouts of our ex-Chancellor.

It turns out that his seat has been abolished. And after boundaries have been re-drawn, he finds himself now defending a very small majority in the new constituency of Godalming and Ash.
It looks like he will be the first Chancellor to lose his seat. So he probably isn't wasting much time defending it.

Who was looking?

Thanks Gromit I did ask a similar question earlier but the Mods marched in.

It's not news that's why.

Gulliver was looking, TTT.  Gromit has come to his rescue by posting something that, unlike gulliver's post, actually includes an item of 'news'.

he deserves to lose it

Here you are TTT...

//

Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has admitted his Surrey seat could be won or lost by 1,500 votes or less as he faces a battle to political survival.

The Godalming and Ash parliamentary seat is a key target for the Liberal Democrats who are aiming to demolish the Conservative “blue wall” in southern England. If they are successful, a defeat for Mr Hunt could surpass the infamous “Portillo Moment” when the former defence secretary Michael Portillo was beaten in Enfield Southgate during New Labour’s landslide victory in 1997. //

This will be SIR Ed "Post Office scandal" Davey I presume?

I'm a little perturbed you were concerned about Hunts whereabouts, I didnt think anyone (including hardened Conservatives) would give two hoots about him.  Obnoxious little git.

Oops, Hunt that is not you Gromit!

// [Best for Britain] said there were more likely “Portillo moments” – election night defeats of Tory big beasts – through tactical voting. These could include the cabinet ministers Penny Mordaunt, Jeremy Hunt, Robert Jenrick, Grant Shapps and James Cleverly. //

Hopefully even more TINO's will cop it.

I was going to say that arch liberal Cameron, but he doesnt have a seat anyway did he!
