I need somewhere to store insurance documents that get sent to me via email. Thank you.

I store that sort of thing on Google Drive, then I can access them easily from any device or pc, even if it's not mine

On my Samsung Galaxy, there's an app called Tools that came with it.
Tools > My Files will allow you to create folders.
If you don't have Tools, I should think there's plenty of File Browsers available.

I connect my phone to my laptop with a USB-C cable and then I can do anything on the phone I can do on my computer. It's particularly useful when trying to get photos off the phone to store and edit on my laptop.

My photos automatically upload to the cloud and download quickly to any other device. 

If my phone is lost or stolen I will still have the last photo I took
